You know how you learn new words by reading books or listening to people talk? AI does the same thing! It reads millions and millions of words to understand language and learn how to talk back to you.
AI learns from reading:

By seeing so many words and sentences, AI learns patterns in language โ just like you did when you learned to read and write!
Robot Conversation Game ๐ค
Let's act out how a chatbot thinks and talks! One student will be the robot, and one will be the human. The robot has some special rules to follow:
Setup:
1 student = Robot ๐ค
1 student = Human ๐ค
Robot's Rules (you must):
Answer simply (short and clear)
NOT have feelings (say "I don't feel anything")
Be silly but simple (use basic words)
Only know things from your training (don't make things up!)
This is how real chatbots work! They respond with what they learned but can't really understand feelings like we do.
